As CAD/GIS Drafter you will play a vital role in the continued stability and growth of our organization.KwiKom is looking for a driven individual to join our Engineering team to work closely with the Team Leads, Field crews, other Drafters and Design Engineers to prepare working drawings in the required and established formats. This position will report to GIS Engineering Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms computations by hand and by computer software. Uses experience, education, and judgment to make informed decisions. Retains knowledge and builds on previous experiences; thus, increasing capabilities in breadth and complexity.Organizes multiple tasks and completes them in an orderly fashion.Effectively communicates and coordinates with Team Leads, Field crews Cad Technicians, Design Engineers, and KwiKom team members to complete required tasks.Checks drawings for accuracy. Prepares working and final drawings. Produces clear and concise drawings using company standards.Organizes project files and drawing files in a manner that is accessible and understandable for current and future use.Works with others within the entire Engineering group to review and create standards and helps implement the standards.Researches, understands, and can re-create historical survey data and its relevance to the overall process.Understands design plans and can develop construction plans and.
