As we continue to grow our client base, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Client Officer to join our leadership team as primary custodian of our client relations domain.Role Overview: The Chief Client Officer will lead OPR's client relations management and drive business growth, while foremost ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Client Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of client relationships and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires a seasoned PR agency professional with a proven track record in successful PR firm client management, revenue growth, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking capabilities, excellent communication and people skills, and a passion for building long-term partnerships with clients.Responsibilities:Client Satisfaction: Work with "pods" of client teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular client reviews and meetings to assess client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues. Analyze client data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of client experience. Provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure exceptional client service. Lead and inspire a high-performing account management teams, fostering a collaborative culture of growth.Organic Growth: Lead annual growth planning in partnership with OPR team leaders (directors). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and fostering tailored solutions. Serve as a strategic counselor.Survey the Landscape: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats to or opportunities for OPR and our clients.Maintain Successful Continuity: Develop and implement client onboarding and training programs to ensure smooth integration of new client account team members. Implement initiatives and programs to enhance client retention rates.Foster Critical Relevance: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop client-focused marketing campaigns and initiatives. Stay updated with PR agency professional best practices and emerging trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations to client teams. Partner with OPR's creative and strategy leads to ensure consistent delivery of industry-leading work.Proactive QA and Problem Solving: Act as a strategic advisor during challenging situations, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining client trust. Anticipate client concerns and promptly address to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in public relations, government and politics, communications, business administration or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in public relations or public affairs firm client management.Proven experience in a senior client management role within the advertising or communications industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.Proven track record of successfully managing and growing PR firm client accounts.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salariesThe annual base pay range (scale) for the Chief Client Officer role is $150,000 - $175,000.
