SummaryBascom Hunter Technologies Inc. is looking for a Senior RF Test Technician to support the BH Tech division's RF Component product line. We're looking for experienced candidates with a technical background and domain expertise. Bascom Hunter provides solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Aerospace markets across various disciplines. Our BH Tech division currently provides products and services across four product lines: RF Systems, RF Components, Neuromorphic Processors and Photonics. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Job DutiesDevelop and execute test plans and procedures for RF components, subsystems, and systems.Conduct comprehensive RF testing, including performance testing, environmental testing, and compliance testing.Troubleshoot issues related to RF performance, signal integrity, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).Utilize a variety of test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes of test failures and implement corrective actions.Maintain test fixtures, equipment, and documentation to ensure accuracy and traceability of test results.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as needed.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in RF testing technology.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.US Citizen with the ability to maintain a DoD security clearanceMinimum of 5 years of experience in RF testing, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.Proficiency in using RF test equipment and software for data analysis.Strong understanding of RF principles, including impedance matching, modulation techniques, and transmission line theory.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.All positions at Bascom Hunter are subject to background investigations.
