Columbus Speech & Hearing has immediate openings for full-time Speech Language Pathologist Team Leads to serve our growing team. We are looking for professionals with experience. As a non-profit, we work with diverse clients in a collaborative clinic that has been a part of the community for over 100 years. We provide crucial access to families in need of speech and language services. Some of our teams are able to reach into the community and provide the specialized support individuals need to thrive with their communication goals. Our offices are open Monday through Friday, and we accommodate a variety of work schedule options. Evening hours are required. Pay Range: $24.00 - $42.00 per hourResponsibilities And AuthoritiesPlan, coordinate, and provide coverage for team member absences in order to reduce the impact those absences have on the continuity of care; cover/substitute for individual therapy, evaluations, and group therapy as needed in any CSH location.Support a team of speech language pathologists by providing therapeutic, diagnostic, and policy and procedural assistance.Uphold policies and procedures of CSH as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Speech Department Manual.Provide supervision and mentorship for 1 Clinical Fellow (CF) and/or graduate student. Promote and serve as a model for providing quality services, creative problem-solving, and positive communication skills.Be available beyond the regular hours of CSH as may be required for special projects and community involvement.Be responsible for other assignments and special projects as determined by the Director and/or Assistant Directors.Attend and contribute to weekly department staff meetings.Be a member of at least one of CSH's committees.Collaborate with AD and Office Manager regarding ordering and supply maintenance of assessments, protocols, copy room materials, resources, and therapy materials at all CSH locations.Collaborate with ADs, FO staff, and clinical staff regarding student observers (medical students, undergraduate speech students).Collaborate with Clinical director, ADs, and FO staff regarding scheduling and training of work study students.Collaborate with AD to create and maintain policies and procedures to support speech staff members supervising graduate students and clinical fellows.Education, Experience And Special AttributesMaster's degree in speech/language pathology.Minimum of 4-5 years of clinical experience beyond clinical fellowship.Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.Hold a license in speech pathology from the State of Ohio. Hold license in speech pathology from the Ohio Department of Education, if necessary.Meet the health standards of the Ohio Department of Health, if required as a part of a specific clinical assignment (ex. preschool, school contract).Physical requirements: must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, must be able to sit on the floor to interact with young children for extended periods of time, and must be able to move efficiently and quickly from one position to another.The information above has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
