As a Housekeeper Manager, you will contribute to the overall success of our community by fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork, leading and mentoring a team of Housekeepers, and visiting with residents to determine the quality of service being provided by your team. The person who fills this role will be accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping operations of our community, ensuring all areas of the community are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and order at all times.The ideal candidate will:Have a commitment to Touchmark's values (Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and giversPassionate about Managing and leading the housekeeping team with a fair and supportive management style to create a cohesive and happy team that looks forward to returning to serve our residents every day. Use creativity and innovation to solve problemsHave a sound understanding of overall operations as well as budgetsHave knowledge and experience with infection control and an Interest in expanding the infection control proceduresHave experience with scheduling Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred or combined equivalent of education and experienceHave at least two years of experience managing a teamHave experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community, though this is helpful but not requiredHave a "can do" attitude towards their work and be passionate about maintaining a five-star site appearanceBe proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applicationsMust have flexible availability to include weekend coverage Benefits: Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
