It is your responsibility to be fully knowledgeable of Partners in Excellence's Privacy Policies and Procedures and to report any violations to their direct and/or clinical supervisor (see Partners' Policies and Procedures HIPAA). It is the responsibility of the BT to protect Partners' Clients' privacy at and away from workCompletes the required technical training and participates in ongoing training opportunitiesRedirects, intervenes, observes, and monitors client behaviorsAbility to problem solve and make appropriate decisionPossesses the interpersonal skills to be playful, enthusiastic, and bring a high level of energy into the therapeutic situationAbility to work with a team and accept corrective feedback, complying with supervisory directionEffective communication skills with parents, co-workers, and supervisorsMakes sound decisions and uses good judgment when dealing with clients, parents, and co-workersDemonstrates dependability and consistency in therapy and other job-related activitiesCommunicates daily progress and client concerns to the appropriate staff membersOrganizes and cleans clients' space and equipmentAssists in keeping the facility safe, organized, sanitary, and guides others to do the sameAssists clients with personal care including dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, food, nutrition, and diet needsAbility to lift fifty (50) poundsAttends and participates in meetingsReports all safety concerns to the Center Manager or their direct supervisorThe BT is assigned to an area or areas (i.e., POD) at the Partners in Excellence's center-based programsOther duties as assignedQualificationsWe require candidates to have:High School diplomaMust be at least 18 years of ageSuccessfully passed an initial and subsequent background checks (no history of felonies, substantiated client maltreatment or vulnerable adult incidents, or disqualifying misdemeanors)We prefer candidates to have:Previous behavioral therapy experienceBachelor's degree in related fieldKnowledge of teaching procedures associated with Verbal Behavior TherapyGeneral knowledge of typical and special needs clientsPartners offers both full-time and part-time positions, working Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.To learn more about starting a rewarding career with an innovative, exciting company that offers room for promotion and advancement, please visit our website at .Individuals with experience working with culturally diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
