CONA is located in Spartanburg, SC and serves patients in the Carolinas and beyond.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant Certified - Spine. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for collaborating with neurosurgeons and spine physicians in the evaluation, treatment, and management of neurosurgical and spine patients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, providing patient education, and communicating effectively with the care team.QualificationsNeuroscience and spine anatomy knowledgePrior experience as a Physician Assistant in a neurosurgery, spine, or general surgery settingExcellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skillsStrong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound clinical judgmentsCurrent certification as a Physician Assistant and state licensure in South Carolina or eligible to obtain licensure in South CarolinaBachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or related fieldExperience with EMR and EHRAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
