SummaryCheck the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products as well as review production procedures. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. Review procedures, processes, equipment assemblies and related tasks Assist with root cause analysis Review and assists with development of all job related SSOP's/ Work instructions Verify that equipment is complete and meets quality standard prior to shipment Perform measurements of manufactured components to verify manufacturing specifications have been metApprove incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.Final and in process inspection of components, and prototype parts using various gauges such as micrometers, calipers, hardness testers, scales, surface finish gauge, laser measuring equipment and other precision equipment as requiredDocuments inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Shipping and receiving duties as neededOperation of HD scan lab and tracking of samples.NCR and CAR creation and follow through. Wear tracking of customer product. Inspection of incoming equipment from customers.
