Notes from Manager - These positions are based more on the telecom carrier side. Need someone who has previously worked at Telecom Data Centers which are otherwise called Central offices of those telecom carriers. Will install equipment's like batteries inside the datacenters. Boots on the ground kind of person. Doing surveys, Taking care of the installation, Surveys, entering notes on needs, BOM Quotes for Cost, writing up specs for install, cable set up etc. Required skill: Mechanical or electrical Engineer degree required. Installation background in communication (telecom) equipment. Doing survey based on telecom provider's request for equipment services needed (Order).Will also be taking care of BOM.Submitting Quote to telecom provider once approved, it will be sent to engineering team for installation. Duties will include: interfacing with customer technicalrepresentatives, performing site surveys, writing detailed installation specifications, performing material and labor cost analysis, and providing technical and field engineering support. Knowledge of telecommunications transport technologies and central office environments and standards are a plus.
