E&I Superintendent Niagara Falls, NY, United States | Competitive package and Perdiem availableResponsibilities In this role, you will coordinate with subcontractors to maintain and coordinate safety and QA practices and assist the site manager in preparation of schedules for subcontractorsFurther, you will assist the site manager with planning and coordination of subcontractors, as well with monitoring and coordinating the execution of all field activities by a subcontractorAdditionally, you will have overall liaison of material management by a subcontractorYou will offer suggestions and proven construction techniques to a subcontractorFurthermore, you will report subcontractor activities and problems to the site managerWork with the QA manager in mitigating QA issues is part of this roleAlso, you will assist with management of subcontractors as they apply to overall construction and the construction assistant / engineer in researching problems and errorsParticipation in project meetings is requiredMoreover, you must follow LPP safety policies and procedures as outlined in the safety manualRequirements You have a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceEight (8) or more years experience as a superintendent on a construction project is required within the Oil, Gas and chemicals space. Hydrogen or Industrial gas experience preferredYou possess a broad understanding of each construction discipline and have effective leadership skillsFurther, you have effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the companyIn addition, you own effective analytical and problem-solving skills
