Our AAMCO in Reading is looking to add an Automotive Technician/Mechanic for our high volume shopAs a Technician, you will be working in a total car care repair center, with jobs ranging from inspections and standard maintenance to transmissions, electrical diagnostics and everything in between if you have the proper skill set. We offer a Career not just a Job!Clean, safe environmentGreat team atmosphereJob Requirements:To be qualified for the Technician position, you must have at least 3+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving, and repair experience.Other requirements include:Appropriate Diagnostic tools necessary for service performedValid driver's licensePA State Safety and Emissions LicenseAbility to communicate solutions to othersMust be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work everydayBe proficient with schematics and flowchartsMulti-tasking abilityASE/INDUSTRY/AAMCO Certifications are preferred but not required (we can get you there).Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as Scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, AC recovery equipment, Fluid Exchange Equipment, Lift operation, etc.
