Food that will use fewer natural resources in factories and farms, answer the need of increasingly health and planet-conscious consumers and contribute to positive change in the rural communities where we grow our ingredients.We are moving to 100% renewable energy by 2030.Donating 200 million meals to food banks and NGOs worldwide by 2025.Implementing regenerative agricultural practices across 100% of our potato acreage by 2030.Key Responsibilities Operate equipment (including setups, shutdowns and changeovers) to maximize line efficiencies and according to specifications Performs pre-operation checks of equipment for safe and proper set-up, ensuring all guards are functional and in place Maintains supply of materials to the line throughout the shift Setting up safely and ensuring the proper processing equipment is in place Accurately record material usage in production Maintains and completes reports Communicates with support personnel and maintenance about any equipment malfunctions or design deficienciesQualificationsFluent English Skills (reading, writing, verbal speaking, and comprehension) High school diploma or equivalent.6 to 12 months manufacturing experience is a PLUS!Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral as well as read and interpret schedules related to production/ product schedules and line changeoversAbility to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization. Must be able to enter data into a computerBasic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot is a mustMust be able to stand for up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 poundsPhysical DemandConstant: use and movement of hands and standing on regularly scheduled shift.Frequently: Bending, grasping of hands, and reaching for up to 3 -6 hours daily.Occasionally: Walking, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, and twisting at the neck and waist, pushing and pulling for up to 3 hours a day.McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
