This is a full-time position that will focus on aircraft composite repairs. Reporting to the Director of Production, MRO the ideal candidate will use their full knowledge and experience to complete all tasks in quality standards of the Company, FAA, and our customers' approved maintenance manual.ResponsibilitiesPerform cleaning, disassembly, and repair of flight controls, structures, stabilizers, nacelles, exhaust, and other aircraft partsRepair, modify, replace, or overhaul aircraft parts to ensure airworthinessPerform work within estimated or budgeted hoursKnow the proper use of heat control unitsKnow various types of aircraft sealant and appropriate method application for sealant as well as aircraft fasteners and basic methods of installation and suitable substitutionsFabricate parts as required and have knowledge of metal and alloys and where substitutes may be usedPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum of 3 years experience in aviation component repairsHigh school diploma required, technical or trade school certifications preferred.Basic computer skills required such as Microsoft Suite Must be able to read, write and understand English
