Thank youMy client is a premier full-service law firm that has handled tens of thousands of cases and recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for our clients in different areas of law, including personal injury/car accidents, personal injury protection (PIP) litigation, workers' compensation, family law, employment law, real estate law and commercial litigation. They are a growing, successful law firm with seven offices located throughout the state of Florida and one office in Texas.They are currently seeking an experienced PIP Plaintiff Attorney with minimum 2 years' experience. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, work hard, and have an excellent attitude.Practice area(s) will be predominately Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Litigation. Great opportunity to gain civil litigation experience. We are a growing law firm practicing many areas of law with room for growth. Willingness to market and ability to bring in business is a must.Compensation: $140,000 - $175,000, Pay is commensurate with experience.Responsibilities: Manage significant caseload from inception to post-trial. Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Prepare pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents. Research and writing. Prepare timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities. Develop clients via relationship building methods. Travel to various courthouses and other locations is expected.Qualifications: Must be a Good Standing Member of the Florida Bar. Excellent academic credentials require. Excellent writing, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and research skills as well as attention to detail. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel and Westlaw. Must be able to work independently and produce an accurate and high-quality work product. Excellent communication, speaking, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, decision making, and relationship building skills. Experience evaluating files for litigation. Ability to be a team player and work in a fast-paced atmosphere. Candidates must be organized, detail oriented, comfortable working independently, possess excellent follow up skills, and be able to consistently meet deadlines. Must be able to communicate in a professional manner in person, via telephone and written correspondence/email. Must be able to document files in a clear, concise, professional written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers, and other employees of the organization. Must be able to follow instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting and multi-tasking skills. Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
