We are a correctional, healthcare provider with a regional focus on our clinics in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Colorado Jails and Detention Centers. Our team oversees the day-to-day healthcare operations in facilities with inmate populations ranging from 25 to nearly 2,800 inmates. Learn more about us at Location: Butler County Jail El Dorado KSJob Description: DentistPart Time ContractThe Dentist provides dental services and direct patient care as well as clinical examination of admissions and treatment of patient needs in accordance with federal and state regulations, community standards and Turn Key Health policies and procedures.Performs appropriate repair of caries to alleviate painPerforms and interprets radiographic exams as indicated.Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.Arranges referral for patients requiring services not offered on-site.Reviews incoming reports (e.g. lab, x-ray, EKG, ER reports, consult reports, medical records) signs, dates and orders follow-up in a timely manner.Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.Assist patients with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicates with them in a courteous and respectful manner.Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.Documents according to established guidelines and policies.Provides on call services with clear communication and follow up as indicated.Facilitates staff, patient decision making by providing educational tools.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Assist in outside medical public relations as assigned.Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Current Licensure to practice as Dentist in state of operationCurrent D.E.A. CertificateInsurability (malpractice)Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)Ability to pass a background checkJob Types: Part-time, ContractSalary: From $1000.00 per hour
