Job Description:

Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianKey Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in Automation in a manufacturing environment, responsible for sophisticated manufacturing and automation equipment. Detailed knowledge in PLC and electrical controls. Proficiency in mechanical and design areas of automation with general machining capabilities. Thorough familiarity with hydraulic function of manufacturing equipment. Proficient in Electrical/Electronic components of manufacturing equipment. Self-motivated to learn and perform job tasks to meet or exceed company expectations. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Primary Functions Ensure all machinery, equipment, building structures, and facilities are maintained and functioning properly. Perform maintenance on all manufacturing and facility equipment, including mold presses, auxiliary equipment, and miscellaneous plant equipment. Participate in the maintenance of the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimum machine utilization. Recommend and lead innovative improvements to upgrade equipment and processes. Maintain accuracy of maintenance history records for all equipment. Interface with production to schedule equipment maintenance as necessary. Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical problems on equipment, providing timely short-term and long-term recommendations. Coordinate with production and tooling on issues beyond the skill level of the shift team to ensure accurate communication of repair needs and timely completion.
