The position is responsible for client relationships, providing clients with excellent service and support and leading/facilitating team productivity.Job ResponsibilitiesEffectively manage processing of incoming documents from insurance carriers such as policies, audits, and endorsements within their assigned book of business, ensuring their accuracyCultivate long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and insurance marketsProcess contract reviews and issue non-standard certificates of insurance on behalf of the client, verifying adequate coverage is in placeServe as a mentor and role model to others by sharing your professional knowledge and experience, as well as by demonstrating actions and leadership that reflect the best interests of the organizationSecure mid-term coverage for additional lines by requesting/negotiating quotes from insurance carriers and issuing binding instructionsRespond to Accounting Inquires from insurance carriers and internal accountingCommunicate with insurance carriers to resolve coverage issues, audit disputes and /or billing questionsParticipate in or conduct client meetings when necessaryAttends industry related continuing education training and coursesPerforms other duties and projects as assignedServe as a backup to the Transportation Marketing Lead and the Associate Account Manager(s).Job RequirementsStrong understanding of commercial lines and transportation insurance coverages, forms, procedures, and policy ratingSelf-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environmentProven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailResponds to change and challenges in a calm, composed and positive mannerAble to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and sound, professional judgementStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsEffective negotiating skillsEffectively prioritized and plans work activities, readily adaptable to changing circumstancesClient focusedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent interpersonal communications skillsAbility to follow proceduresIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteSome TravelEducation RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work-related experienceWI Property & Casualty License RequiredHave a designation or willingness to obtainExperience RequirementsMinimum 5 years in a commercial insurance customer service role - RequiredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in the transportation industry - RequiredApplied Systems (EPIC) experience preferred/Department Account Management & ServiceRequired Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experienceRequired Travel: Up to 25%Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)HUB International Limited is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran's status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state or federal laws, rules or regulations.
