Summary: CT TechnologistCompensation: $27.50/hr-$38.50/hrCompanyOur client is an independent, nonprofit, regional health care system serving the southwest metro region of the Twin Cities. Its network includes four hospital campuses"”a multitude of primary and specialty care clinics, emergency services and specialty programs, a nursing home, independent living apartments, home health and home medical equipment services, and more.Compensation: $27.50/hr-$38.50/hrShift: Predominantly 2nd shifts M-F (3pm-11pm) and rotate through every other weekend (6:30am-6:30pm)Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, room for growth, etc.Key Responsibilities Interacts with patients, providers, and staff professionally and courteously to ensure patient safety. Produces high-quality and accurate diagnostic CT images. Assists with equipment maintenance to ensure patient safety and proper working order. Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained. Performs intravenous access technique as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. When Functioning as a Lead: Serves as a resource and provides technical guidance to staff Technologists. Provides feedback to supervisors for staff performance reviews. Develops and maintains the schedule. Edits and approves time and attendance. Performs new employee department and position orientation.Employment RequirementsMinimum Education/Work Experience Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology Registered by the ARRT in CT (Employees cross-trained by us have 1 year from the completion of training to become certified) Meet basic requirements for ACR accreditation CPR Certified Critical Access hospital (CAH) does not require ARRT CT registration. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on CT images. Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner. Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications. Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations. Ability to work autonomously and as a team. Capable of making independent decisions with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Imaging locations. Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence.
