Job DescriptionCT Consultants, Inc. is an innovative, growing, and reputable Engineering Consulting Firm who has been providing clients award winning projects and ground-breaking solutions since 1922. We are currently seeking a Land Survey Party Chief to join our talent-focused organization. This position is responsible for coordinating field survey operations, which includes insuring the safety of the crew, equipment, accuracy of survey data, and completion of assigned tasks. Must have experience working on a wide variety of projects, including boundary, topographic surveys and construction layout.Desired Skills And ExperienceThis position can be located in either our Mentor, Akron, or Youngstown offices5+ years of industry experience, prior crew chief experience is preferredPS not required, but is preferredProficient with multiple types of land survey field work, including Topographic/Existing Conditions, Boundary, ALTA, Construction LayoutAutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble product experience desiredStrong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal)Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitudeAbility to work in all-weather climatesTasks And ResponsibilitiesOversees the daily field operations of a survey crewConduct land surveys and construction stakingOrganize and maintain field crew efficiency in meeting work schedulesAccurately calculate and record field dataOversee and direct the operations of the projectMaintain equipment and keep proper records of maintenance and repairsTrain assigned personnel in the operations of equipment and proceduresMonitoring work for compliance with plans and specificationsPreparing written reports, calculations, client interface, and related work itemsConstruction Staking of heavy highway, water & wastewater works, underground utility installation, and municipal infrastructure improvementsApplicant must be willing to travel throughout Northeast OhioWhy CT?What makes CT Consultants an exceptional place to work?
