Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 8 years of experience in insurance coverage, including first-party and bad faith insurance coverage litigation, to join the team at one of the fastest-growing law firms in Atlanta!The firm represents businesses of all types, both nationally and regionally. The prestigious insurance coverage practice team is nationally recognized, and is proud to represent clients in federal and state courts across the country!This is an onsite position, in Atlanta. The firm will consider candidates looking to relocate who are eligible for GA Bar reciprocity.RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze coverage during claim investigationsDraft coverage evaluations and recommendations and advise on complex coverage mattersCollaborate with clients and provide advice to mitigate risks in coverageDraft pleadings, respond to and issue discovery, draft motions and supporting memoranda.Conduct legal researchTake and defend depositionsDefend first party insurance cases, primarily representing insurance companiesDraft proposed provisions or suggested revisions to insurance policiesDraft and revise insurance policy formsNegotiate settlements informally and at mediations and settlement conferencesDraft appellate motions and briefsREQUIREMENTS:Member of Georgia bar or eligible for Georgia bar membershipAdmission to federal district courts in Georgia requiredJD from accredited law school3-8 years of insurance coverage experience, including experience with first-party and bad faith coverage mattersThe firm is proud to provide a competitive salary and benefits at all levels, in addition to comprehensive training, CLE opportunities, and mentorship by the senior attorneys in the practice.
