A&D Mortgage is a Florida-based Nationwide Mortgage Lender providing successful residential and commercial loans for over 20 years. With a team of 200+ employees across the United States, we represent our A+++ service in 40+ states. We are seeking a Tax Manager to develop and implement tax strategies and develop solutions for tax issuesYOU'RE GOING TOAccurately prepare and file state and federal tax documentsDetermine areas of exposure and adapt to challenges in the compliance process keeping abreast of new developments in tax regulationsResearch complicated tax law and accounting principles and draft/review technical memos and policiesCoordinate with the auditor's tax team, challenge auditor's position where appropriate Work with accounting team on financial statement tax disclosures, including tax reconciliation and deferred tax detailPrepare estimated tax payment requirementsSupport CFO with necessary tax research to understand existing and potential tax positions and their impact on effective tax rateConsult with business units as tax issues ariseSupport expansion of the company's activities in other financial service industries IT'S IMPORTANT TO US THAT YOU HAVESkilled in ASC740 tax provisionProficient in corporate, individual taxationExperience with federal and state tax returnsExperience in mortgage industryCritical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesGood interpersonal skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and organizedGood research, quantitative, and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize task, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environmentMinimum of two year experience in a tax manager role is preferredBachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred WE OFFER• Corporate training and development opportunities;• Comprehensive salary and benefits package;• Great Corporate events;• Career growth and advancement opportunities;• Health benefits;• 401(k) Plan;• HSA.
