LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Trust and Estate Planning Paralegal in Bloomfield Hills, MI with 8+ years of experience as a paralegal with a back ground in accounting or finance.Responsibilities:Conducting research, drafting legal documents, and working directly with clients to ensure that their estate plans are comprehensive and legally sound.Responsible for collaborating with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure that all aspects of client matters are handled efficiently and effectively.Federal and state tax return preparation.Probate administration.Preparation of accountings and certificates, deeds, and other property transfer documents.Preparing stock certificates, deeds, and other property transfer documents to fund revocable and irrevocable trusts Research.Researching tax forms, publications, and related matters as requested.Maintaining a docket system for the department CommunicationQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required8+ years of experience with a background in Accounting or FinanceShows attention to detail and possesses good organizational skillsCan prioritize tasks efficientlyKnows when to work independently and when to seek guidanceFunctions well as part of a team and independentlyIs dependable and reliableHas excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and is capable of communicating effectivelyMaintains open and effective communication with colleaguesCan handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Salary: $70,000 to $95,000 DOEBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
