We heard you knock!Description of Job:Sets up and operates hot press and glue roller applicator. Lays up faces, core and backs to make plywood. Watches grade and quality to ensure components meet specifications. Watches for jam ups and machine malfunctions. Performs cleanup of glue rollers, lay up tables and hot press.Requirements:Read/interpret job order and customer specificationsKnowledge of plywood construction, including componentsPerform multiple visual checks of the productMust master manipulation of sheets to prevent damage/reworkHigh attention to detail and fast pacedKnowledge of species, cuts and matches preferredRead a tape measure, use a moisture meter and calipersFrequent team lifting of up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for 10 hoursFrequent repetitive lifting, twisting, bending, reaching, grasping and pushingWe Help People Walk Through WallsWe respect the privacy of candidates for employment.
