Job Description As the Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for performing general facility maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and mechanical repairs. Schedule Details: Our facilities Department operates 7 days per week. Maintenance Team Members at The Point at Poipu work varying shifts; 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, and 2:00 pm -10:00 pm. Additional Responsibilities Include: § Operate all resort and physical plant systems & associated equipment. § Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment. § Perform repairs on all types of equipment. Repair boilers, plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans and air conditioning equipment. Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers & wiring and electrical & electronic components of machinery and equipment. Repair and/or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment, and fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures. Refurbish and remodel rooms Visually inspect and test machinery & equipment Dismantle defective machines & equipment and install new components, also set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools Finish the given work assignments and work orders Respond to and correct any guest complaints or service calls that may occur. Conduct proper building rounds and Maintain records Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards Consistently practice the Meaning of Yes® and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects Assist with other duties as assigned Qualifications What are we looking for? To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: 2 years of facilities maintenance related experience General knowledge of engineering methods, practices, and techniques High School Diploma or equivalent experience. It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Previous experience in the hospitality or timeshare industry.
