Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team!The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial concepts, and regulatory reporting. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the financial success of the organization.Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP- Conduct account reconciliations and analysis- Prepare third party reports; lender compliance, forecasting and other as assigned.-Prepare and file quarterly and annual sales tax returns for CA, OR, NV and TX- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes- Collaborate with internal teams to support overall business objectives- Provide guidance on financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and proceduresExperience:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- CPA certification preferred- Experience in a supervisor/management position- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field- Proficiency in using accounting software like Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulatory reporting requirements-Proficiency in Excel- Experience in public accounting is a plus- Ability to understand debits, credits, and financial conceptsJoin us as a Senior Accountant and be part of a dynamic team that values professionalism and excellence in financial management.
