Metform is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. With a presence in over 95 locations worldwide, we offer opportunities for growth, development, and a supportive work environment!   Job Duties: Adhering to the Company's Safe Driver Code and maintaining a valid and good-standing driver's license Inspecting the truck pre- and post-trip to ensure safety and compliance Monitoring the maintenance and repair of the truck to ensure optimal performance Assisting with or overseeing the loading and unloading of cargo Maintaining accurate logs recording cargo weight, arrival and departure times, and miles traveled Completing all documents fully and accurately to meet regulatory requirements Adhering to 5S standards to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area Following all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment Perform work under general supervision Handle moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff   Education: Require a class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and appropriate endorsements   Competencies/Skills: Ability to interpret work instructions Ability to follow written and verbal directions Basic verbal and written communication skills Decision-making skills Customer service skills Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines Attentiveness to safety and quality standards Clean driving record Vision that meets regulatory requirements   Equal Opportunity Employer: MacLean-Fogg is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
