Sundays on-call for emergent only.Acute DialysisThe acute dialysis unit offers accommodations for 6 patients, as well as bedside treatments. Hemodialysis and Peritoneal dialysis are both offered at Mercy Hospital South. We provide comprehensive collaborative care to all adult and adult geriatric patients that require hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, acute and chronic renal failure.Acute Dialysis has a 6 bay unit located on the 6th floor of main hospital and portable to ICU. Our nurses work in a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse to patient ratio.
