DentistHealth Division (Sign on Bonus Eligible)About the **The Dentist provides professional dental services and education to patients, and other health service workers. What youll be *Provides and manages direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, referrals, diagnoses and treatmentsPrescribes pharmaceuticals and other medications and / or treatment regimens as appropriateRecords organized, legible entries in electronic patient health records system, according to QAI Standards and standards of careProvides clinical supervision and teamwork servicesDirects and coordinates the patient care activities of applicable dental staff as neededPerforms patient triage and initiates patients care as appropriate for walk-insProvides necessary information for clinical and insurance credentialing purposesServes as Dental consultant for outside referralsPresents in-services programs in areas of dental care to staff to increase awareness of specific problems, diagnosis, and treatmentProvides support as dental clinical director in his/her absenceWhat youll need to be ****Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine requiredTwo (2) years of directly related dental office experience preferredCurrent WI Licensure without restrictions, DEA registration, and CPR certification required.Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids, the ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage, and knowledge of institutional regulations and guidelines for the provision of dental outpatient servicesAbility to observe, assesses, and record symptoms, reactions, and progressAbility to supervise and train employees, foster a cooperative work environment, and maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standardsStrong customer service orientation and the ability to treat patients with dignity and respectMust possess proof of applicable health department testing and vaccinations or testing/vaccination will be provided by FCP Employee HealthProficiency with the latest technology and software, including Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screensFCP complies with all CMS Mandates & all Health Division employees must receive the COVID-19 vaccine prior to hire.
