Athens Retina Center is a rapidly growing Retina Practice dedicated to providing compassionate care and being community-driven. As we expand our services, add new doctors, and potentially change office spaces, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Practice Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role requires a strategic focus, data-driven decision-making skills, and strong business acumen.Responsibilities:Practice Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, ensuring smooth functioning, cost savings, and practice efficiency.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the practices growth objectives and core values.Office Space Relocation or Expansion: Work closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to assess, plan, and execute potential office space changes, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and operations.Provider Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in identifying and recruiting talented physicians, coordinating their onboarding process, and ensuring seamless integration into the practice.Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality patient care.Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure the practice operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards, maintaining a strong focus on integrity and professionalism.Practice Culture: Foster and promote a positive practice culture in alignment with our core values of excellence, enthusiasm, professionalism, compassion, commitment, and teamwork.Staff Development: Support the professional growth and development of the practices staff through training, performance management, and recognition programs.Quality Improvement: Implement data-driven quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, optimize workflows, and drive overall practice efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies, referring physicians, and community organizations, to enhance the practices reputation and referral network.New business development: for example, clinical trialsQualifications:Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).Proven experience in medical practice management, preferably in a retina or ophthalmology practice setting.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated business acumen and financial management skills.Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.Strong commitment to patient care, compassion, and community engagement.At Athens Retina Center, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care while upholding our core values.
