Job Description:

We're a well-established Engineering Firm in need of a full-time Office/Financial Manager to manage the hub of our information flow. We're a small but growing company, so we all wear multiple hats and are engaged in the big picture to deliver projects for our clients. Though this position is a supportive role, it is integral to the success of our company. We have an open, accountable work environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• General office duties: design and maintain filing systems, document and optimize operational procedures, order supplies, and maintain historical records.Accounts payable: code and process invoices for payment.Client invoicing.Manage Accounts Receivable: generate statements and follow up on outstanding invoices, when necessary.Projects: set up projects in Ajera software; assist managers as needed.Monthly reconciliations and reporting to accounting firm.Processing of payroll hours for accounting firm.Internal reports for managers.Maintain employee vacation and sick accruals.New employee onboarding.Maintain insurance records for clients and subcontractors.Assist with annual audits for insurance.Assist with annual renewals of health/dental/vision insurances.Required skills and qualifications:Knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and best practices.Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, QuickBooks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and planning skills, and attention to detail.Ability to take initiative, self-start, multitask, and prioritize tasks.Capable of mastering the basic functions of Ajera software.Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment and meeting deadlines.Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.Experience and Education:5 years' proven experience working in a private company with accounting preferred.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.Location: Jasper, INSalary and Hourly wages are based on experience.Benefits: • Medical Benefits• 401K• Vision• Dental• Paid Time OffPandoLogic.
