Join us in shaping the future of building infrastructure and making a positive impact on communities worldwide.As the Site Operational Excellence (OpEx) Manager, you will deploy the proven tools and processes of Impact Business Systems, Lean Six Sigma, and Quality Management System (IQMS) to drive performance excellence to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction. This position will report directly to the VP of Operations. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will promote a plant culture of Continuous Improvement, Lean and Quality to drive change. This role will direct the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Departments.ResponsibilitiesLeadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams involved in the manufacturing and design of Trash and Laundry Chute materials and equipment.Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to production, ensuring that all design specifications and engineering standards are met.Selection and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select appropriate materials for chute construction, considering factors such as durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate material testing to validate performance and compliance with industry regulations.Design: Utilize expertise in architecture and structural design to develop innovative chute systems that integrate seamlessly with building structures while optimizing space utilization and functionality.Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols to maintain the highest standards of product quality and reliability. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, control charts, Pareto charts, etc.understanding of production environments (low volume/high mix and high volume/low mix) including safety requirements and use of lean techniques in these environments.Management: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables. Monitor progress against established goals and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.Engagement: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams, to gather feedback, address concerns, and align engineering efforts with business objectives.
