Our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction has positioned us as a leader in our field, with a strong presence in Winston-Salem, NC and beyond.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our finance team in Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring efficient cash flow management, and maintaining strong customer relationships through effective credit and collections management. Core Responsibilities:Conduct credit checks and analyses for new customers to establish credit limits and terms; manage adjustments to existing credit lines as necessary.Oversee the maintenance and updating of customer documentation.Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities impacting cash flow; initiate collection efforts including direct customer contact and involvement of collection agencies when appropriate.Recommend actions on problem accounts and manage bad debt write-offs; process credit balance refunds and resolve sales tax certification issues.Process and post credit card payments, and confirm ACHwire payments.Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with accounting principles.Generate financial reports and queries as required by management and team members.Assist in the development and implementation of tools and training programs related to accounts receivable functions.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable; experience in Accounts Payable is a plus.At least 3 years of supervisory experience in Finance.Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Thorough knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, Credit Risk Analysis, Invoicing, Credit memos, and termediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with SAGE software is advantageous.Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to prepare executive summaries and interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
