We are building an ambitious, tenacious, and creative team who are unafraid of tackling new challenges.Role Summary: As our Senior Email Marketing Manager you'll own our email and persona based email segmentation engine that runs as an extension of our web-based application. You'll join an innovative growth marketing function and drive our email program across segmentation, design and new contact acquisition.Responsibilities: â— Define an email marketing strategy including cadence, audience segments, and setting KPIsâ— Using existing brand guidelines and assets, execute the copy and own the creative within all emailsâ— Operate within our existing email marketing software and dictate any upgradeschanges to our email marketing tech stackâ— Launch targeted email campaigns and conduct AB tests, optimizing content to increase conversion and engagement metricsâ— Track and report on results for all campaigns, be able to propose strategic improvements to hit targetsâ— Be the voice of industry best-practices, product requirements, competitor messaging, and customer challengesâ— Work cross-functionally with sales, product, operations, and creative teamsBackgroundExperience:We're looking for a performance-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-past, startup environment, someone who is willing to be flexible and pivot with grace. This person is a self-starter who doesn't need hands-on direction, but is a low-ego team player. You have:â— Minimum 3 years business experienceâ— Proficient in Klaviyo Email Marketingâ— Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, inDesign, and Canvaâ— A passion for using data to improve content and hit targets â— You have a basic understanding of personal financesâ— You are self-motivated and work effectively without oversightâ— You are an exceptional communicator and pay attention to detailâ— You are excited to grow as our company grows - both personally and professionallyâ— Remote two daysweek, in-person Boston office three daysweekWhat You'll Do:â— Develop Strategy: Ideate, create, and oversee our comprehensive email marketing strategy and content calendar. Responsible for setting KPIs and achieving targets. â— Create and Execute Campaigns: Own the full execution of email campaigns, including building briefs and creating email assets, then scheduling, sending, and tracking emails. â— Project manage: Manage timelines both internally and externally and secure key stakeholders for review and approvals.â— Test, Track, and Report: Analyze results, initiate and oversee AB tests, create and send reports, gain insights, share out learnings, and continually iterate and optimize key metrics (open rate, click rate, conversion rate, etc.) â— Attention to detail: Deploy quality assurance testing for all email notification deployments to ensure we have consistent and appropriate coverage across standard devices and platforms.â— Manage cross-functional relationships: Facilitate communication and reporting with cross-functional departments to ensure email is supporting key business priorities.â— Customer acquisition: Lead email and lifecycle strategy across copywriting, segmentation, and new customer acquisitionâ— Lead Generation: Create and optimize our lead nurture streams to produce pipeline for our sales team Salary Range: â— The base pay for this role is between $80,000 - $120,000 per year. Starting base pay will depend on skills, education, and business experience.
