Collection RepresentativeIn a Call Center environment, the collections representative is responsible for collecting onunpaid TAB Notices of Violations.Responsibilities:Collection calls with diligent follow-up skillsNotifying customers of delinquent status and utilize established solutions to obtainpaymentsFollow established standard operating procedures for call flow and collectionspracticesExplain to respondents of tickets the impact of tickets remaining unpaidExceed required call goals for call volume, right party contacts, and moneycollectedNavigate software, email, dialer softphone, and desk phonePerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent customer service experience - Patience and ability to manage irate callersand stressProven experience as a collection specialist or call center specialistAbility to manage a high call volumeNavigate MS Mail, MTA software, excel, and Avaya Dialer systemComfortable working with targets and goalsSkilled in negotiationProblem-solving skillsSelf-starter, self-motivatedHigh moral character and good attendance recordBasic knowledge of the Transit System rules and regulationsKnowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel; experience using web-based tools andgeneral digital communications applicationsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
