The position entails extensive contact with clients, scheduling closings, correspondence with investigators, insurance companies and medical providers. The litigation paralegal must draft, file, calendar, and manage the litigation files with a high level of proficiency and accuracy.RequirementsMust be able to gather, analyze and research information and documents and manage a high volume case load. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate acute attention to detail. Excellent organizational, written and communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and able to function in a fast-paced work environment. 2-4 Years previous litigation experience required.*Spanish Speaking preferred.*Multi-state experience preferred (TN, GA, AL, NC, SC, FL).*The Roth Firm is currently hiring for the ONSITE role of the Litigation Paralegal role in Atlanta, Georgia.LocationAtlanta, GAJob DutiesHandle all file communication during litigation. Act as center of communication for client, attorney, med providers, lien holders, Insurance companies. Educate the client on processes and set appropriate client expectations. Escalate issues to the attorney as appropriate. Gather all records and bills necessary to advance case, and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth transition of each file. Draft all documents necessary to advance the legal claim in Federal, State, or Magistrate Courts (Complaints, Discovery, Motions). Coordinate Depositions. Manage caseload proactively using the case management system by working the assigned task list aggressively to move cases. Daily responsibilities: Drafting: complaints, discovery, motions, and lettersFile management of single event plaintiff side personal injury and workers compensation claims & preparing litigation and mediation binders timelyPerfecting service: background checks, locating defendants, and effective communication skillsCoordinate depositions and mediations (coordinate with parties, council, court reporters, etc.)Calendaring critical case dates and managing deadlines for multiple attorneys Proactively managing file timelines within the internal database systemCoordinate with investigators Must learn and follow attorney requirements & preferences for document standardsMust be proficient in use of digital Filevine Case Management System, or case management systemsMust be punctual, professional, and a POSITIVE team playerWork closely with the vendors and managers to manage onsite functionality Must be able to maintain high productivity Must be proficient with time management and accuracy for all cases and daily tasksMust note all files accordinglyMust be able to work efficiently both independently and within a teamManage workloads within the designated set schedule Maintain co-worker's files while absent if neededMust be comfortable efficiently moving cases along in timely mannerMust be a self-starter and motivated to increase productivity as a wholeMust be an effective communicator and maintain clear communication when approaching deadlines.
