Job Description:

Hiring a fully on-site Senior Surgical Pro Fee Coder to assist physicians 5 days a week. Applicant for this position should have a minimum of 5 years coding experience, including surgical abstracting experience!Job Duties:Designs, facilitates and manages training and development activities for employee tools, processes and procedures; including curriculum design, content, and implementation strategiesPerforms project management duties to build, test, and implement revenue cycle projects, including setting and managing timelines and milestones, scheduling calls and meetings, and coordinating additional resources.Partners with internal stakeholders to understand needs, work with leaders to continually improve the delivery methods and training content to both existing and new employees.Researches and analyzes how Epic can be better utilizedaltered to provide automated solutions.Reviews revenue issues to identify and determine ifwhere Epic tool or user workflow can be adjusted to correct problem.Accurately abstracts from operative reports, medical records, and physician's daily activity logs.Reviews and resolves all charges prior to submission.Participates in physician education regarding coding and billing topics.Resolves codingcharging disputes by researching clinics and reviewing teracts with physicians and other employees and provides information.Qualific ations:5 years of relevant coding experienceSurgical abstracting experienceCPCExperience working directly with physiciansEPIC experience
