Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:The Assistant Plant Manager must supervise exempt and non-exempt staff including conducting performance evaluations and improvement plans, approving paid time-off (PTO), assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, taking disciplinary action, and interviewing candidates for open positions.Must directly supervise work crews processing materials in a safe and productive manner.Must assign operating equipment and personnel for efficient material flow in a timely and cost-effective manner.The Assistant Plant Manager must coordinate and check work for quality assurance and ensure deadlines are met.Maintain time and production records.Must participate and contribute towards all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS:The Assistant Plant Manager must hold an associate degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred.Must have minimum 5years of experience in raw materials manufacturing industry in a plant set up.
