SUMMARY OF WORK PERFORMED: Implement visionary leadership for all staff. Manage and lead overall residential program. Maintain the priority of the program of trauma informed care. Mentor staff to focus on working with children who have experienced trauma with coaching and facilitating an environment that utilizes trauma informed care principles. POSITIONS UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION: Assistant Program Manager, Case Manager, Mental Health Counselor, Education Coordinator, Human Resource Professional.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrate an ability to communicate compassion for vulnerable children placed into the program and ensure they will experience an environment where every child is valued, protected, and loved.Implement and supervise an effective program of care leading to positive outcomes through trauma informed care principles.Hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff listed above. Hire and train new staff members, keeping program aways fully staffed.Oversee the training of all staff.Develop supportive relationships with residents and staff.Ensure compliance of the whole program. Comply with WAC's, state contract, state license including keeping the policies and procedures manual teract with the Department of Licensing Resources as necessary. Communicate with the Executive Director so continuity of care can be ensured.Respond to and attend to details of crisis situations that may arise during working and non-working (on call) hours. Assist direct care staff with approval of intake referrals, clinical emergencies, and interventions.Ensure accurate records and reports on a daily and monthly basis are taking place. Review facility logs and oversee the execution of regular administrative paperwork and reports and assist with any facility audits.Work closely with Executive Director in implementing budget.Approve timecards, vacation time, mileage, pre-approved overtime, and coordinate coverage for vacations or leaves for your direct reports.Provide case management for children as needed.And or other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A philosophy of support for abused children in line with values, mission, and treatment philosophy of Bridge Receiving Center.Must have a management philosophy that respects the value of people and seeks to maximize their potential in the workplace.Experience working with children who have experienced trauma and can facilitate an environment utilizing trauma informed care principles. A program manager must have education and experience as follows:o  A master's degree in social services or a closely related field from an accredited school and one year of experience working with children or youth; oro  A bachelor's degree in social services or a closely related field from an accredited school and two years of experience working with children or youth; oro  Five years of successful full-time experience working with youth in a relevant field.A program manager must also have supervisory abilities that promote effective staff performance, relevant experience, training and demonstrated skills in each area that he or she will be supervising or managing.Experience with Residential Programs.Valid Washington driver's license, acceptable driving record, current vehicle insurance are all required.Record clearance free of criminal convictions.First aidCPR certification.Ability to speak and write English and prepare complete, concise, and clear reports.Ability to intervene during crisis situations with minors up to 17 years of age.Adequate vision and hearing to be able to supervise properly.Ability to remain awake, aware, and alert during working hours and work independently.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. Prior residential supervisory experience preferred.2.
