We embrace the qualities that make each of our team members unique and develop each other's skillsets so that together we can be stronger than the sum of our parts.Purpose of the Job:Direct and indirect management and coordination of all plant operations including distribution operations, production operations, maintenance, safety, quality, and any other operations related activities. Essential Functions:Manages distribution operations for shipping and receiving. Manages production operations including production planning and scheduling. Manages quality, equipment maintenance and safety within the facility. Manages operational support for daily billing, receiving, cycle counts, customer returns, internal and external customer support. Responsible for specific KPI metrics for the overall plant performance. Controls and minimizes labor, overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses. Provides direction, development, training support and leadership to plant employees. Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in operations management or a related field and over five years plantgeneral management experience.Safety-first mindset, with demonstrated ability to improve working conditions and ensure a safe and engaging work environmentSound understanding of LEAN concepts with experience in implementing the tools to drive a culture of continuous improvement.Experience with production planning, scheduling, scheduling methodology and distribution operationsSAP andor QuickBooks software experience desirable. Able to work in a team environment and fulfilling objectives and goals with minimum direct supervision. Detail oriented and ability to multitask. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
