Job Description:A rapidly expanding law firm in Miami Lakes is seeking a highly detail-oriented, bilingual controller with expertise in QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and an individual contributor, capable of managing financial operations in a fast-paced environment. This position will involve handling trust accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, as well as managing monthly close processes, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and process procedures. The Controller may also be involved in some HR responsibilities. The law firm has over six locations, and the controller will work directly with law firm partners and outside CPAs.Responsibilities:Manage trust accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Handle monthly close procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the firm's assets.Develop and refine process procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to the CEO and law firm partner.Potential involvement in HR responsibilities, such as payroll and benefits administration.Qualifications:Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Proven experience as a controller or in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.Expert knowledge of QuickBooks.Strong understanding of trust account management and legal and financial regulations.Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish.Experience in a law firm or legal environment is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Dynamic and supportive work environment.Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding firm.
