SummaryArcadis DPS Group Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Planner to join our dynamic team. The Senior Production Planner will play a critical role in planning and coordinating production activities to ensure the timely delivery of production commitments and maintain high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production planning, capacity management, and inventory control in a GMP environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a capacity-constrained master production schedule for the site, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts, customer service requirements, and project activities.Facilitate the short-floor schedule for manufacturing by area, considering labor and process requirements to optimize production efficiency.Manage the material requirements plan and coordinate ordering and exception management with manufacturing and third-party procurement services.Oversee the reorder process for general materials, ensuring optimal inventory levels to support production activities.Monitor inventory levels and implement controls to efficiently manage inventory while meeting customer service targets.Collaborate closely with manufacturing and warehouse teams to implement and maintain area Kanbans, optimizing material flow and inventory management.Facilitate the GMP material item request process in accordance with local procedures, working closely with area subject matter experts and Document Control.Maintain and monitor data integrity for GMP materials in the third-party procurement system, including internal item codes and supplier information.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices for production planning and inventory management.Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in supply chain management, operations management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning, capacity management, and inventory control in a GMP manufacturing environment, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.Strong understanding of production planning principles, including master production scheduling, material requirements planning, and inventory management.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools for production scheduling and inventory management.Proficient in MS Office and preferably MS Projects.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex planning and inventory challenges.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems related to production planning and inventory management is preferred.
