Location: Work from Home - Must be located in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Rhode IslandOverview: Venture Solar is seeking an experienced, results-driven individual with technical solar knowledge to join our team as a Remote Closer. This position is for confident, experienced solar sales professionals.This is not a traditional virtual sales role as you will be assisting a consultant that is at the prospect's home with the technical aspects of the design, financing, and closing the sale. A sales representative will show up to the prospect's home to collect utility information, take photos, give a high level overview of the programs, and give an overview of the company history to the prospect at which time you will join the meeting virtually to review equipment options, build a design for the customer, review their current and future electric bill, and finally review a proposal and close the sale. We refer to this method of selling as "˜Hybrid Appointments' as there is an in person and virtual component.These will be pre-set, qualified appointments. You will only be attending meetings where your team member has already arrived at the home with the prospect and obtained the utility information. This is the most efficient use of time and results in the highest compensation opportunity in the industry.With the flexibility of working remotely, you'll have the opportunity to run a high volume of consultations without having to travel or deal with no show appointments. Remote closers only required travel will be monthly sales meetings and the occasional team outing. Training and onboarding will be in person.Venture is offering above industry standard commission and a base salary for this role as we want the best of the best. We realize that as a highly skilled and experienced closer your time is extremely valuable, which is why we created this role to eliminate travel time and devise a way to get the best closers in the industry in front of 3-6 prospects every day.Qualifications:4+ years of solar experience requiredExpertise & Proficiency in solar design softwareExpertise in solar financing and economics (lease, loan, PPA, cash, prepaid lease)Experience with multiple finance platforms (Sunnova, LightReach, IGS, Dividend, Service Finance Company, Mosaic)Maintain a closing rate of 35% or higherSuccessfully pass the Design Optimization Evaluation.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to continuously learn and adaptAbility to close deals in a competitive environmentCompensation:The target compensation is $230,000+, with the following details:Base compensation of $26,000 paid bi-weekly$.10 per watt for company leads, scheduled by the company, where the Remote Closer assists with the sale$.15 per watt for referrals, company pays the referral fee of $500, $750, or $1,000 depending on the customer's referral tier$.30 per watt for self generated dealsVolume based bonusesAdditional incentives based on performance metrics30% commission paid upon NTP, 70% paid at installationRole & Responsibilities:Work closely with management to execute a daily schedule focused on maximizing the number of presentationsClose your own referrals and self-generated opportunities generated in Hybrid OpportunitiesEngage with 40-70 new prospects per month and aim to close at least 20 opportunities a monthAttend monthly in-person sales meetingsCollaborate with Junior Solar Consultants to progress opportunities from Aurora Design to Closed Won.Ensure adherence to the sales process, including app downloads, referral generation, LOI signature (when applicable), and credit checksIndependently generate contracts and oversee the sales lifecycle from appointment set to closed wonBenefits:Health, Dental, Vision, 401k with company matchCompetitive compensation package with lucrative earning potentialRemote work flexibilityOpportunity for career growth and advancement within the organizationAccess to training and development resources to enhance skills and knowledge in the solar energy industryJoin Venture Solar and be at the forefront of driving the adoption of solar energy solutions while achieving your financial goals.
