Our client is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! This is a hybrid position with room for growth, compensating $38-45hr (depending on experience).Title: Senior AccountantLocation: Alexandria, VACompensation: $38-45hrKeys to Hire: 3+ years non-profit accounting experienceRun month-end close process, update GL, reconcile bank statements and balance sheetsPrior experience with grants a plusJob Responsibilities:Verify all journal entries and update the General Ledger Improve processes, procedures, and controls while working with various departments Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivables Review and process expense reports and receipts submitted by cardholders on a monthly basis Prepare and analyze the monthly budgetforecast to actual variance reports per program and department. Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer's benefit costs, accruals and prepaid expenses.
