Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, technical accounting knowledge, and experience with regulatory reporting.ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accountingPrepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecastsConduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracyOversee the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulationsDevelop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assetsProvide guidance and support to the finance team on technical accounting issuesCollaborate with external auditors during annual auditsStay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and best practicesUtilize accounting software such as Sage to streamline processesExperience:Familiar with the OilGas Industry.Experience in both Revenue and FinanceFinance experience includes Experienced in: Bankingvendor payments, Manage Budgets, Forecasts and variance write ups, Run Financial statements, with supporting balance sheet reconciliations, balance sheet, income statement and cash flowsRevenue experience includes: Revenue processing, good understanding of JIB's. Understanding of Land and land billing, work closely with Land manage well drilling, completion and LOE. Maintain Fixed Assets and Inventory; manage depletion, accretion, impairment and ARO liability.
