Joining our team means playing a role in our sustained organic growth.Job OverviewWe are seeking a Project Manager knowledgeable in the estimation and construction of sanitary process piping systems, specifically in the food and beverage industry. This role requires a working knowledge of process flow diagrams, layouts, estimation software, subcontract agreements, fabrication utlilizing TIG welding, and OSHA safety standards. Applicants should be able to estimate and manage the installation of sanitary process piping with little to no oversight from management.Key Responsibilities:Client CommunicationManage forward-facing contact with clients.Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships by responding promptly to inquiries, providing an excellent quality of service, and delivering projects within predetermined budgets and schedules.Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project progress, lead times, and expected delivery dates.Negotiating and closing major sales.Conducts business in a professional manner with the utmost respect and integrity.Estimation:Complete estimation for process piping installations and draft proposals for projects ranging from 10K-5M.Estimate accurate project construction timelines while taking valuable customer downtime into consideration.Collaborate closely with the engineering team on large capital projects.Construction Management:Manage multiple projects concurrently. Projects are to be managed from inception to close out.Assign schedules based on multiple project deadlines, equipment lead-time, available manpower, and the client's production requirements.Manage all onsite construction activity.Maintain daily safety logs, lock out tag outs, hot work permits, and client specific daily reports.Manage sub-contractors' quality of work, productivity, and jobsite conditions.Billing and project Recap:Provide weekly project cost recaps and billing reports to be reviewed by management.Review, document, and approve subcontractorvendor invoices.Create material take offs and submit purchase orders for projects.Provide change order request to client and manage documentation.Upon completion of project manage project close outs, as-built documentation, and final billings with the client.Qualifications:RequiredBachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent of 5 years of related processing industry depth understanding of how to read a P&ID Process Flow Diagram.Experience creating isometric drawing for material take offs.Fabrication Tig welding best practices.Knowledge of process design or piping design for liquid-based sanitary processing systems.Must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.Ability to work at out-of-town job sites for extended periods of time.PreferredKnowledge of common processing equipment such as centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, single seat valves, heat exchangers, cooling towers, chillers, boilers, and CIP systems.Exposure to mechanical drafting programs such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and InventorA strong mechanical aptitude; sharing personal DIY projects is encouraged.Benefits:401(k), Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.Health Insurance (HMO & PPO options), Flexible Spending Accounts.Professional growth and training opportunities.
