POSITION: Sr. ChemistDURATION: Perm - Direct Hire LOCATION: Onsite 5 days in Palm Springs, FL (OPEN TO RELO, $5K RELO PACKAGE)Must Have:6-8+ years of experience as a Chemist working to formulate OTC (over the counter) cosmeticsExperience formulating skincare (specifically SPF)Completes COAs (Certificate of Analysis) for new formulationsProficient with FDARegulatory Compliance processes and proceduresCompliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Experience creating batches and getting them up to code at a high speedProficient with Microsoft programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Excellent soft skills! Strong time management, organized documentation, critical thinking, taking initiative, delegating, meeting deadlines, etc.Plus:A portfolio of past workA passion for the cosmetics industry!Day-to-day:This Sr Chemist will be working to coordinate and manage the day-to-day formulation lab activities in support of the business needs. They will be responsible for developing and replicating cosmetic skin care formulations (OTC products), specifically products containing SPF. Incredible care, coordination and communication is imperative to this role as they will be developing pilot formulations, managing product briefs and communicating all development to the business (salesmarketing departments).
