Large Credit Hedge FundReal Estate Debt Instruments, Bank debt, Bonds, Equity, & DerivativesThis truly outstanding alternative asset manager has nearly $80 billion across a range of Structured Credit, CLOs, Loans, High Yield, etc., now seeks to hire an experienced to hire a Performance and Reporting Specialist, to join its Portfolio Analytics team and be responsible for analytics and reporting across the Firm, but to strong focus Real Estate Credit business.Reporting to the US Head of Portfolio Analytics, you'll assist in the implementation of new platforms, processes, and reporting and bring a mix of finance & reporting experience, with strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to grasp new concepts quickly. You'll partner closely with Portfolio Management, Technology, Operations, and Business Development as well as the CFO & COO of Real Estate.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with the Front Office to develop, improve, and own data and performance solutions.Partner with Business Development Team to develop analytics to drive fundraising initiatives.Assist in the development of an automated, dynamic reporting environment.Collaborate with colleagues to understand pain points, areas of improvement.Analyze current business processes and provide recommendations.Participate in the implementation of new platforms, processes, and reporting.Manage communications to senior management regarding ongoing initiatives.ESSENTIAL SKILLS:6-8 years of experience within financial services, ideally with a credit focus.Working knowledge of Performance Attribution and Analysis.Experience working with Real Estate debt instruments a plus (including but not limited to bank debt, bonds, equity, and derivative instruments), preferably in a hedge fund, private equity or audit environment.Knowledge of Credit Fund REITS operating models and underlying components.Knowledge of data analytics and BI applications a plus (Anaplan, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)Ability and confidence to have intellectual debates and quickly gather requirements and answers.Strong communication skills both written and oral.Build strong relationships at all levels within the FirmMasters in scientific discipline from a top university
