As our Electronics Support Technician, you will provide technical support to customers by troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues. We are seeking someone with strong analytical skills to determine courses of action to rectify problems, and consistently provide the best service to our customers. The team currently operates on a Monday - Friday within business hours schedule, with light on call duties. We are seeking someone with a strong background in electronics, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is quality driven with the capability of working independently and within a team environment.Provide technical support to customers via phone or email to diagnose and resolve issues, with follow-up as needed.Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves technical hardware andor software issues in digital surveillance and AV systemsKeeps accurate record of problems and their resolutionsContributes to documentation on troubleshooting, systems support, and departmental processesProvides feedback on processes and makes recommendations for improvementKnowledge & SkillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with computer hardware and software, including operating systems, diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting utilities, to support electronic equipment interfacing with computers.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and ability to speak at their levelDetail-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality service and maintaining accurate recordsInterest in building computers or robotics preferred.
