Our award-winning office products -seating, sitstand desks, technology support and lighting - have led the industry in performance and simplicity for over 35 years.ResponsibilitiesEngage in design sessions with design, engineering, and product management teamsWork directly with design engineers to develop and validate new productsCreate product requirement, compliance requirement, sustainability requirement, design, and system architecture documentCreate and execute functional, performance, interoperability, and quality & reliability test plans.Develop test fixtures and automation test tools.Perform competitive product research and teardown analysisParticipate in issue troubleshooting with in-house engineers and development partnersParticipate in design review, risk assessment, and improvement planningConduct industry, and compliance research and analysisAssist in creating and maintaining development roadmap and scheduleAssist in creating and maintaining production drawing, control documentAssist in reviewing off-tool samples, pre-production samples, and inspection reportsAssist in upgrading and maintaining PLM system QualificationsSr. year in pursuing of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. In pursuing of a Master's degree is a plusExcellence written and oral communication skills, organization skills, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge in wireless communication technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth), modulation scheme, energy & noise measurement methodologies a plusKnowledge in circuit design and CAD toolsExperience with lab equipment - oscilloscope, DVM, function generator, power meter, etcKnowledge in product development methodologies and product life cycle managementKnowledge in enterprise IT infrastructure and TCPIP networkingExperience with test automation a plusAbility to lift 40 poundsInternship pays $18hourHumanscale is an Equal Opportunity Employer (MFDisabledVeteran)
