CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT - COMMERCIAL DESIGNBUILD PROJECTS - GROUND-UP, BUILD-OUT AND REMODEL Specific areas of responsibility include:Participate in all project team meetingsFollow and maintain the superintendents Project ChecklistDevelop and maintain a team relationship with subcontractors and vendorsOrganize project site logisticsMonitoring of project general conditionsOrganize and manage site construction activities to meet or exceed project completion schedules as set forth in OwnerSLI AgreementCoordinate all state and local municipality inspectionsCoordinate all MEP, Structural and Civil inspectionsQuality control and assurance for work incorporated into the projectsCompliance with Local, State and Federal Codes relating to the workMaintain project photos for the projectAssist Construction Manager with approval of project invoicesEstablish and maintain positive communications with ClientsEstablish and maintain positive communications with other members of the project teamPrepare daily construction reportsPerform daily and weekly safety inspections and prepare reportsPerform SWPPP inspections and prepare reportsUpdate and maintain the project MSDS binderAssemble and maintain as-built drawings for the projectHold weekly safety meetingsReview subcontractor insurance purchase order logsAssist with review of subcontractorvendor change pricingPrepare four week look ahead schedules and update weeklyAdhere to and enforce SLI policy by not permitting subcontractors to be on site without signed agreements or proof of insuranceEnforcement of terms, conditions and scope of work for subcontractors and vendorsAdhere to and enforce SLI Safety Policies and ProceduresAdhere to SLI Project Administration Policies and ProceduresNormal work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. As workloads fluctuate so do the time requirements of each of our staff members. You are responsible for setting the work hours on your jobsite and you will be expected to be on site as long as subcontractors are present. It may become necessary to travel from time to time.
